Without a doubt - my trip to Alaska in 2007 was one of the best things that I have done in my life so far. Unbelievable and beautiful views, outstanding people in a small town of Sitka, international mates that I've been working with - it's just a small piece of everything that you'll get over there. Great opportunity to make new, international friendships that'll last for a long time. So? Are you still thinking about? Just do it!
I will never forget my three summers in Alaska. I had to be brave going there for the first time in 2004, as I did not know anybody in Ukraine who had done that earlier. All the other times I could not wait to go back there again to enjoy the pure nature, nice people, fishing, eating crab, having fun with all the new friends. I went to Alaska for money and adventure, I have got all of it, and even more than I could expect. Alaska is great if you want to experience something really different and challenging!

I will never forget my life in Alaska during summer vacation, 2008.
It was my first time to go to Alaska and last time to go there as Work and Travel applicant. I didn't know there is such brilliant program that helps students going abroad with wonderful experience, live like natives, until my age of 30.
I had very simple life while I was working in Fish Factory; I worked, played, chat with friends from all over the world; I spoke, listened in English all the time. I learned knowledge about fish from wonderful experienced supervisors. Life in Alaska was very simple, but I enjoyed most in my life.
P.S. There are two types of person; one is to create his own history and the other is to see other's history.
